Anastasia Durasova is a Siberia-born makeup artist and body painter recognized for exceptional technical precision and creative range. Trained in classical painting and sculpture, she moves fluidly between commercial beauty and conceptual artistry, bringing a fine art sensibility to every project.

In 2024, Anastasia received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Makeup for her work on Taylor Mac’s 24-Decade History of Popular Music. After years designing makeup for Taylor Mac’s celebrated theatrical productions and touring globally with the company, she created the makeup design for the critically acclaimed play The Hang. She is a frequent collaborator with design luminaries Stefan Sagmeister and Jessica Walsh at &Walsh.

Her commercial clients include YSL Beauty, Maybelline New York, Estée Lauder, Clinique, Hourglass Cosmetics, Y-3, Thom Browne, Victoria’s Secret, and CoverGirl. She has worked with photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, Ellen von Unwerth, Paola Kudacki, Platon, Greg Kadel, Mark Seliger, Kenneth Willardt, Robert Trachtenberg, Cass Bird, and Glen Luchford. Her work appears in international editions of Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar US, Elle US, Garage Magazine, Paper Magazine, and Teen Vogue.

When not on set, Anastasia spends time with her family and her Devon Rex cat, Zucchini.
